One thing I love about Park City is that we have mountains, forests, desert and meadows all in one town. This weekend Erika from Beehive Bay and I took the new camera to several different locations around Park City and had a great time snapping pictures of the beautiful scenery. Of course, we would rather that it be snowing, but we took advantage of the bright and unseasonably warm December day. We first headed out along an exceptionally muddy road to the Mormon Flats area by Jeremy Ranch. This time I played photographer and Erika was the model. I am loving this hat for fall and winter. Simple and stylish. And since we were on a "hometown adventure" we called it the "adventure hat." I am in love with the colors of these willows, especially next to the bits of snow. And thank you to Erika for capturing this shot of me below. I didn't know I was in the picture but I love how it turned out. Ready for a more foresty scene, we drove up Lamb's Canyon. Even though the day was warm, the shady road was covered in ice. The picture below of Erika looks carefully posed but in reality she was just cautiously trying to avoid slipping on the ice. In order to get a grander mountain view, we took our adventure up into Summit Park. The clouds were especially amazing in these shots. I would love to hear what you think!
